I’ve noticed some trends in my life for the past weeks that are contrary to the promises of God and it’s high time they stopped.

One way or the other, we’ve all experienced that moment when we work very hard to achieve a goal – “we” being us with the backing of Jesus Christ in constant prayers, tears and all the faith we can muster; howbeit smaller than a mustard seed – and FINALLY achieve it. Oh the relief! the praise! the confidence and boost of faith which makes us certain that anything is possible…only to be faced with the next phase of progress and slapped with a double load of trials, temptations and horrible lies from the devil.

You struggle with focusing on the blessings of God; even the recent miracle of success attained against all odds, leaving your heart an anxious mess with constant thoughts of failure as your mind keeps replaying the NOs and opportunities you missed and keep missing every step you make. Your confidence takes a plunge and you forget that,

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”.

And your dreams, once a place of constant communion with God becomes unfamiliar with projections of confusion, doubt, pain; and you forget Him saying,

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.

Then you find yourself drifting, tiredly reaching out to embrace the body of lies that constantly drains you, mocks you, steals from you…

Well no more! This is where we declare a loud NO!

“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”.

Enough of these lies and crippling fear of failure, enough of these self-doubts; we won’t wallow in them anymore. Reject every situation that does not align with the promises of God in your life,

“Neither give place to the devil”.

Proclaim the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ – for Him dying on the cross and giving us victory will not be in vain in our lives.

Beautiful people saved by grace,

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble”.

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually”.

You don’t like the way your life is going lately? Get on your knees and SPEAK OUT!

Remain Blessed.
